If you are going to use social media, for whatever purpose, then it is certainly true that there are two key things that you need:
– A strategic plan for what you want to achieve through social media and how you are going to do it, supported by a social media policy that clearly sets out responsibility, expectations and accountability
– Time and resource to get it going and get it right!
