The first half of this year (plus a bit) has been quite something! I’ve travelled the length and breadth of the country; completed some communications projects and started new ones; worked with great people I’ve known for a while and with fantastic new clients; written all sorts of news pieces, articles and reports; listened to and documented the experiences of a vast array of people, from employees to students, from frontline staff to CEOs, from accountants to lecturers to fundraisers. I can’t pretend that every minute has been perfect, but most of it has been pretty darn enjoyable.
And now I’ve decided to take some time over the summer to recharge my batteries. I’m off to the beach, the park, the countryside, the library, the cinema and who knows where else? During August I’m going to be visiting new places, playing with my daughter and probably eating lots of ice-cream! Wherever I go I’ll be taking a notebook with me to jot down the thoughts and ideas that are bound to pop into my head and be of use to me and my clients in the autumn and beyond. And there may even be sandcastles…..
Whatever you’re up to this summer, I hope you have a fabulous time.
Until the autumn
Sarah
